You just have to learn how to hang curtains and dress them properly. prepping your pencil pleat curtains prior to hanging: Standard pencil pleat curtains to start you will need to gather the tape on the top of your curtains. You do this by pulling out the 3 cords in the back of the curtain tape. To start pull the cords out of both ends of the curtain tape and tie them together in a firm knot. There are 2 reasons for this 1. It stops you pulling the cords completely out of the tape (not a good start when learning how to hang curtains). 2. It keeps the cords together on the end that you pull the cords out to gather your curtain. Then continue to pull the cords out.
Repeat the process on the top right hand side of the same curtain, now find the centre between the two roses and to create a bit of interest attach the middle rose slightly lower than the rose on the left and the right. Place the fourth rose underneath the third middle rose but slightly lower. Place the fifth rose to the left side of the fourth one but slightly lower (should be in line with the first rose attached at the top left side of the curtain), now the attach the sixth rose to the right of the fourth rose but slightly lower (should be in line with the second rose attached at the top right side of the curtain. Your sequence of six is now complete and I personally find that this pattern is most pleasing to the eye, you could of course embellish the whole curtain, it really depends on the look which you are trying to achieve.
Suspension tubing may be used with high ceilings or if existing obstructions prevent the curtain tracking from being mounted directly to the ceiling. Suspension tubing is available in 8 foot lengths and made with 7/8" O.D. hollow aluminum tubing. Suspension tubing can be attached directly to solid ceilings with a ceiling flange or via ceiling clips to a drop down/false ceiling. A screw insert is then placed in the bottom of the suspension tubing allowing the curtain tracking to be attached. Suspension tubing should be placed every six feet and the tracking ends can be attached to a wall with a nylon wall bracket. Anodized aluminum splicing clamps join multiple pieces of tracking to ensure proper alignment of the channels. This will allow the carriers/rollers to move freely from one piece of tracking to the next. Clean and smooth the ends of each piece of track before assembly; burrs may cause the carriers/rollers to hang up.
